Mari Carmen García Ríos
María del Carmen García Ríos es Diplomada en Fisioterapia y Licenciada en Documentación por la Universidad de Granada. Experta Universitaria en Gerontología social y Doctora dentro del programa de “Información Científica: Tratamiento, Acceso y Evaluación” por la Universidad de Granada. Es Profesora Titular del Departamento de Fisioterapia de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la Universidad de Granada. Miembro del grupo de Investigación CTS-526 “Fisioterapia y Atención Primaria”. Ha sido secretaria de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud, Directora del Secretariado de Centros y Departamentos del Vicerrectorado de Ordenación Académica y Profesorado, secretaria del Departamento de Fisioterapia de la Universidad de Granada. Vicepresidenta de la Conferencia Nacional de Decanos de Fisioterapia durante 3 años. En la actualidad es la Directora del Departamento de Fisioterapia de la Universidad de Granada y vicepresidenta del Grupo de Educación Superior de la Asociación Española de Fisioterapeutas.
María del Carmen García Ríos holds a Diploma in Physiotherapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Documentation from the University of Granada. She is a University Expert in Social Gerontology and earned her PhD in the program «Scientific Information: Treatment, Access, and Evaluation» from the University of Granada. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Granada. She is a member of the CTS-526 “Physiotherapy and Primary Care” research group. She has served as the Secretary of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Director of the Secretariat of Centers and Departments of the Vice-Rectorate for Academic Planning and Faculty, and Secretary of the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of Granada. She was the Vice President of the National Conference of Deans of Physiotherapy for three years. Currently, she is the Director of the Department of Physiotherapy at the University of Granada and Vice President of the Higher Education Group of the Spanish Association of Physiotherapists.
